July 18th-23rd members of The Jackson Project will be attending the 2017 Hunter’s Hope Medical & Family Symposium.  The foundation is represented on the Leukodystrophy Care Network’s (LCN) Steering Committee and will be participating in several meetings and presentations throughout the week!

The LCN is dedicated to revolutionizing the health and quality of live of individuals affected by Leukodystrophies with proactive, innovative, and comprehensive medical care standards and specialized centers throughout the U.S., Canada, and eventually the world.

Families from across the U.S. and Canada affected by Leukodystrophy will be gathered for the week in Ellicottville, NY to hear the latest updates in medical research, development of care guidelines by world class doctors and family advocates, and the establishment of LCN Centers of Excellence in multiple sites across the country.

It is also an amazing opportunity to connect with other families impacted by these rare diseases including the children who inspire us the most.  We are grateful to be a part of such a strong, loving, and passionate community.
